Heritage Home School Field Trip

I had the privilege of meeting a fabulous group of young ladies last Friday!  All seven girls are part of a photo club at Heritage Home School in Dunbarton.  

The photo club contacted me and asked if we would be interested in hosting a field trip for the group.  I graciously accepted!  We had an awesome time talking with the girls and showing them old cameras and even 8x10 film!!  

Each girl has her own camera and frequently make images.  Some of their favorite things to photograph are flowers, landscapes, animals and people.  We had the opportunity to create images of each other during the field trip!  Each had the opportunity to be the photographer and the subject.  They had full control; choosing the backdrop, placement of subject, placement of the camera and whether to use a white or silver reflector or no bounce card at all.  They were able to see how studio lighting works and what happens if you move your subject close to or far away from the light.  Check out their images below!

I know you'll agree that these girls are full of talent!  Thanks girls for coming to Rheault Photographers and spending time learning and creating imagery!!

NHPPA Competition Prints

Back in April I attended the annual conference for the

New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association (NHPPA) in North Conway.  It is a four day conference with classes, trade show and competition.  

I took home three ribbon awards this year!  Here are some of the images that won!
